The UN Task Force on Social and Solidarity Economy has a new website

The UN Inter-Agency Task Force on Social and Solidarity Economy (UNTFSSE) was established in 2013 to raise the visibility of the Social and Solidarity Economy (SSE) within the UN system and beyond. The Task Force members and observers undertake joint initiatives: producing reports and briefs; organizing events related to SSE in connection with relevant UN processes and conferences; and creating partnerships and dialogue with governmental and civil society entities. The Chair of the UNTFSSE and the ILO’s Enterprises Department Director, Mr Vic van Vuuren, spoke at the Pact for Impact event “For an International Recognition of the Social and Solidarity Economy (SSE)” on 4th March 2022. ESCAP and ECLAC deepen engagement with UN Inter-Agency Task Force on Social and Solidarity Economy (UNTFSSE)

The United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (ESCAP) and Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean (ECLAC / CEPAL) have both formalized their membership in the United Nations Inter-Agency Task Force on Social and Solidarity Economy (UNTFSSE).
